Striking Concepts

By combining techniques and ideas from Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Krav Maga, our Striking classes allow our students to learn the basics of combatives while getting a tremendous work-out. You'll learn how to punch, kick, knee, elbow and much more while building your strength and conditioning.

Self Defense Practice

Defense Concepts

Once you learn the basics of striking, you'll be ready for Defense Concepts. This class focuses on real-life scenarios you might face. You'll be able to combine your striking abilities with quick, effective, and practical techniques to keep yourself and loved ones safe! 


Ground Concepts

Once you become comfortable with the Striking and Defense Concepts, Ground Concepts will be your next challenge! Some schools like to throw around statistics like "90-95% of altercations end up on the ground." Whether that's true or not, we'd rather be safe than sorry! In Ground Concepts, you'll learn how to control and improve your position with quality Jiu Jitsu techniques AND strikes. 


Fitness Kickboxing

FCTC's Kickboxing Class is an intense fat burning workout that unifies elements of martial arts and boxing techniques. Using boxing gloves, striking a bag, high-intensity interval rounds, plyometrics and partners drills, our kickboxing classes will empower you to get lean, strong and confident.

Krav Maga

Developed by the Israeli Defense Forces to train people of all ages and fitness levels, Krav Maga is a diverse hand-to-hand combat system that uses instinctive moves and natural inertia to neutralize and dominate your opponent regardless of size and strength.

This is a high-energy program that not only teaches students to protect themselves, but also keeps them fit, lean and energetic.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves or another against a bigger, stronger, heavier assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is the national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand. It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilizes the entire body as a weapon. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on shins is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter (or anyone who wants to train like one) very efficient.
